To help students get from their college courses what they’ll need to succeed in the workplace |

| Description: |
What’s worse than a student who fails or drops out of college? A student who doesn’t, who graduates with a degree but lacks the skills and knowledge needed to succeed in their chosen profession. This workshop first shows students the competencies they’ll need to find and succeed in the job they want. From there, students will learn how their college courses, regardless of the content, will give them the opportunity to acquire those skills. |

- Explore an online resource to identify the knowledge and skills needed for the job of their choice
- Describe the common competencies college graduates need to succeed in today’s workplace
- Appreciate how college courses are designed to develop competencies needed in the workplace
