Fellow Baby Boomers, it was our generation that embraced the message of peace and nonviolence taught by Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr., Gandhi, and others so many years ago. We urged our parents’ generation (referred to today as Traditionalists) to do the same. I became aware this week that we need to continue to lead the way with Traditionalists and help them understand that unity does not mean uniformity. America has become even more culturally rich in the last 50 years and our racial diversity is a blessing. World peace will not be possible until we not just accept, but truly honor, all people on the planet.
